The Office:Lecture Circuit

Samurai8472

Admiral
Admiral
Since Scranton has been so successful, Michael gets sent around to the other branches to explain how. Meanwhile, Dwight and Jim, the new heads of the party planning committee, forget a birthday and have to deal with the fallout. After the end of his engagement, Andy falls for someone new.

After Andy's bonding with Oscar and the "You're gayer than Oscar" on Sunday, could Andy fall for Oscar?

Also Karen arrives with a baby bump. It can't be Jim's.

Very funny episode. I was laughing very loudly at Jim and Dwight making the party balloons. I also really enjoyed how Jim and Dwight were overly angry at each other which almost NEVER happens but it was completely understandable. The Michael-Pam road team was pretty amusing as well. It was great to see Karen again and I really enjoyed that she was happy for Jim and Pam and wasn't catty about it. I didn't see the picture of her husband clearly but was he supposed to be a clone of Jim? He looked really tall, thin, and goofy.

It had it's moments, but it was very tame, I thought overall.

This show just hasn't been the same since season 3.

Again, a better episode.
Its trying to get back to top form.
It took a dip somewhere early in the season but is getting back there.

Not having any sappy Jim/Pam stuff was the plus I think.

Definitely an improvement, I like "party planner" Dwight much more than "set the office on fire" Dwight. Jim and Dwight forced to partner is a great dynamic (like when they used to go on sales calls together).

The party planning part of the episode was really great. Those pathetic balloons taped to the door...I mean WTF, who would ever think that looks decent. And I loved his reasoning on the color, "they matched the carpet." So not something you expect to hear from Dwight. And of course the sign. IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY. I'm laughing out loud right now just thinking about it.

Especially because last week, at work, everyone forgot my birthday!!

I was kind of surprised they didn't follow through on the party planning thing. I thought it was obvious that Jim should have done the decorating and Dwight should have done the extortion of money from co-workers.
