The new movie has helped me get a date with a girl!

Looks like Abrams has done more for me than Roddenberry and Berman ever did. I met this girl online and we are both trek fans. She wanted to see the movie so I am going to take her to see it next Friday, even though I have already seen it. Just think I could have children someday with her who grow up to cure Cancer and it will all be because of abrams new Trek movie! :)

That's a slightly odd thing to say about going on a date with someone.
And seriously, why write your name at the end of your post? Its so ridiculous.
 
I thought it was humour, I pissed myself laughing.

Good luck dude. I suggest you prepare yourself for whatever her response to the movie might be. If you are a huge fan and she hates it you should have something you can say ready that doesn't say the obvious, "YOU ARE TOTALLY WRONG". Because you might want to actually go on a second date with her.
 
hmmm nerds get laid because of the new trek.....

now i see why so many like this movie.

I married the guy who gave me a Klingon bird of prey model for Valentine's Day instead of flowers. All the guys I dated, he was the only one who actually knew my interests enough to get me something I like.

That was 20 years ago :)
