The Most Important Thing Ever

Some thoughts I enjoy:
"If", a poem by Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream and not make dreams your master;
If you can think and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings---nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

I love that poem, I have a copy hanging on the wall overlooking my bed so I can see it in the morning when I wake up.

when I bite into a peppermint patty I get lost between here and there wait wait wait.,

these are the delusions of actualized thought creations here.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING EVER IS TO WIN; SO I WIN HAHAHAHAHAHAH

that was so politically wrong (I say wrong because it is wrong to say incorrect because of the use of the prefix IN ., OK)

we all win, if we just try to. and if we don't we win because we tried .,

I think success is a measure of the importance of being with purpose and moralities..

Take it easy on the porn, when you get older and women your age stop even looking close to that perfect you'll only notice it more.

If anybody does you wrong, sit by the river and wait, sooner or later you'll see their corpse floating by.

Love does conquer all.

Noli mingere contra ventum. *

Don't believe in just about anything you read or hear.

"Vanity of vanities, says Qoheleth, vanity of vanities! All things are vanity!"

And when you buy something in a sale, always remember that it is often unreturnable, and unrefundable.

*Do not piss against the wind. ;)

It's not how many friends you have that matters, but rather who your friends are. It takes special people to stick with you to the end, no matter how big of a cruel, self-righteous, whinny, asshole you act like. The people who are still around for you after you try to drive everyone off and say your mean things are the important ones. Stick with them to the end and cherish that sort of friendship. I nearly forgot that recently.

Technically speaking, it is possible to light a fart with a lighter, but if you have been drinking and have a hairy arse, you would be best served having a trusted friend hold the lighter for you, rather than hold it yourself at that odd angle and with that lack of line-of-sight vision.

Oh, and use an actual lighter. Not a road flare, thinking the resulting pyrotechnics will be more spectacular. The result is spectacular, but it depends on your perspective.
