What is it?

What's the one bit of wisdom (or random fact) you've learnt that the next generation simply must not forget, lest we all revert to swinging from tree to tree and wondering whether bananas should be peeled before eating?

Any answer you deem vital to civilisation is acceptable - frivolous, meaningful, silly, serious, profound or (my personal favourite) superficial?

Impress me with your collective Wisdom - what does one really need to know?

Bananas should be peeled before eating. :bolian:

The next generation HAVE to know that. You know, just in case... :evil:
 
Dreams on the inside, reality on the outside. And never turn down free cheese.
 
Fruit rollups need to be unrolled, and the plastic removed, before they are eaten.
 
Don't give money upfront for auto work, or down payment for a rental. Period. IF you must for a rental, make sure it's in writing you get the full 100% of the cash back if you don't sign a rental agreement to become a tenant.

Auto repair people already have your car, so there is collateral -- you don't need to give them cash.


If people with frog avatars in TNZ try to talk to you or debate, avoid them like hte Plague.


If you don't eat your Reese cups by eating hte chocolate off first, then the center, then you're a communist. :p

"Need" presupposes an objective, which is necessarily a product of mind. And not just any mind, but a mind which has a will.

I think ultimately this is knowing how to avoid suffering, which means to have experiences which tend to the will of that mind. That dichotomy of will and experience are linked through the laws of nature, so the objective invites a strategic solution, through understanding the nature of variables one has control over.

Thus the need is to understand.
