Okay Trek fans, "least disliked" has concluded, so now it's time for the opposite. The basic idea here is your standard elimination game. Journey to Babel - My favorite of TOS. It has some great universe building, the introduction of Sarek and Amanda, Andorians (Shras is particularly good), Tellarites and McCoy getting the last word. I love it.

"Mirror, Mirror" -- I love most of the Mirror Universe episodes in Trek and this is probably the best one. Or at least it's up there with "Crossover".

Amok Time - great character episode for Spock, great acting from Nimoy, moving scenes with Chapel and Kirk, interesting insight into Vulcans (even if it gave rise to the "Vulcans only do it every 7 years fanon, which Fontana explained was never meant by the writers), nice moments of friendship between Kirk and Spock, and a couple of every proactive female characters for a change. It's always good to see the rare cases in TOS of women in positions of power.

The Doomsday Machine - one of the best Trek episodes. I hope I don't have to explain much, it's got the drama, the intensity, and a lack of cheesy moments (at least I don't remember any).
