The Paradise Syndrome - It has one of Kirk's more believable romances, in that it's given time (story-wise) to develop. And it's nice to see Spock go for the greater good while leaving Kirk on the planet.

Requiem for Methuselah always struck me as another high concept--iffy execution episode.. but better than the turks left on the list..

I actually would have pulled Spock's Brain off the list a while ago. Yeah, it's unquestionably awful, but I'd much rather rewatch it and have a good laugh than be forced to sit through And the Children Shall Lead or The Way to Eden, both of which are just painful.

Another series done, and so onto The Next Generation, where some particularly odd episodes took the honors the first time around the "Least Disliked" stages (Timescape? Ship in a Bottle? Lower Decks?) Will the same thing happen this time?

I've always thought The Mark of Gideon is a bit underrated - it has some really great ideas even if the story direction and execution are a bit...questionable sometimes.

I think you mean overrated. It is awful bad horrible and worst of all for trek it is stupid.

Agreed.

I love that shot with McCoy lit from below and looking insane whilst operating on Spock. It reminds me of really old horror films.
