I saved Shuttlepod one , Reed and Tucker bonding over T'Pols bum plus drinking whisky - very funny and well acted.

Sorry I’d have to disagree with you. Seriously when your best plot point is that, you are definitely scraping “the bottom of the bottle”.

I'll save FALLEN HERO if only for the back and forth T'pol did about her feelings for her (I know as a Vulcan she's supposed to have none but how else would you describe her attitude toward the ambassador?). At first, she worships her and then she despises her and then she worships her again and even more than before! Two more of these and it would have devolved into a comedy act.

I will eliminate "Rogue Planet"; I loved the night vision goggle things they had. I hope "Unexpected" wins which for me sans the Klingons was the most embarrassing episode of the series.

I kind of enjoy "Unexpected." It's big problem is pacing -- way to slow to start, then accelerating too rapidly near the end. But I like the basic thinking behind giving Trip a male pregnancy story. The visuals for our aliens of the week are unusually well designed.

Plus it has that no-gravity shower scene for Archer! Reviewing the remaining options really underscores how often nothing else on Enterprise was working, and the only satisfying thing to hang onto was that hot men were regularly taking their clothes off. "Ugh, 'Acquisition', but at least it has Trip in his underwear for the first half... 'Desert Crossing', so stupid, but it does have that extended shirtless sporting montage..."

This the stage where so-so episodes like ACQUISITION start looking good compared to what's ahead. Jeffrey Combs' Ferengi is very good though noticeably different from Brunt. Ethan Phillips does a good performance too.

I'll save Desert Crossing. It's not great by any means, but Clancy Brown gives a good guest performance, and it's less dull than Terra Nova, and less derivative than Two Days and Two Nights.

A lot of bad things happen to people who go to Risa. It's a wonder people are still going there.
