I'm going to save Crossfire. I'm not a big fan of Kira/Shakaar (or Kira/Odo for that matter), but I love Odo's character development in that episode.

Saving Shattered Mirror. Over time, I think it's become my favourite Mirror episode. It's a shame they messed it up with the arc from then on.

Responding to a distress call from Starship Down. Compelling scenario, great Quark scenes paired with James Cromwell, nice Sisko-Kira development. Also love the incredibly cheesy final scene where Sisko and Kira pretty much grin their faces off as Sisko invites Kira to a baseball game.

Saving "Rules of Engagement," one that usually gets middling ratings/reviews. It's a good story, I like the framing devices and has a nice twist ending to boot.

Return to Grace - the Kira/Dukat/Ziyal dynamic is really well done here, and I think the Kira/Dukat interaction is much better than Indiscretion. It's also the best episode for Kira's S4, a season that generally wasn't great for her. I especially love what she says to Dukat in the end, that the way of life she used to lead as a terrorist eats you up inside and that she wants Ziyal to get a chance to have a bit of normal life she never had. She uses violence when she must to, but although it was her life for so long, she doesn't love it or live for it, which is something Dukat could not understand.

I also agree, DevilEyes. "Return to Grace" had much better Kira/Dukat interaction than "Indiscretion" and was a much better episode overall, which isn't to say "Indiscretion" is terrible or anything.

Kira wasn't exactly at the top of her game development-wise in the fourth season but there are a few episodes where she still stands out as amazing.

To the Death - an underrated episode, I think it's one of the best Jem'Hadar episodes. I like the portrayal of the clash between the two ethical systems, and Jadzia's and especially O'Brien's down-to-earth comments on the Jem'Hadar ideology.

"Paradise Lost" follows up on "Homefront" most admirably, although it falls just short of it in the end.
