I adore the setting and atmosphere of "Carpenter Street." I love it for the visuals and the location work and all that so much, I can't even see any of the problems with the story.

I love that it's DETROIT. Such a nice, specific change from: back in time to California again!

So many bland episodes left. I'll go for Friendship One, despite the cynical way in which they kill Carey, after finally remembering that they never killed him off in the first place.

The setup was interesting though - Starfleet giving Voyager a mission was a fun moment. And it was cool (briefly) seeing Carey again.

While not a great episode, it was clever to bring in a species we know goes extinct in STAR TREK. It gets points for that bit of originality.
