"The Menagerie" 16mm on eBay

I guess. I'm completely baffled. LPP film = early 1980s at best
Still it is a straight transfer of the original to 16mm - still probably for syndication before the tape era - and without alterations common in home video releases. I wouldn't be at all surprised if most of the reels in my collection aren't from the 60's but much later. Duplicates run off so stations could have them on hand.
Looks like it got down to a bidding war right before the auction ended. Three different people offered more than $1,000 for Part 2.
It's my favorite episode, but I'd have to be flush with cash to justify buying that print.
