The Master of disguise

Mr. Sin

Commander
Any favorite Master disguises? Harold Saxon of course is the most recent example; however, there have been others.

In the Pertwee years, The Master was not well known and mainly uses psudonyms (Although he kind of did this with Saxon as well). He did use a few masks here and there to fool UNIT however. However, as the years went on his disguises became more elaborate; he stole the body of Nyssa's father Tremas (Which was itself a pseudonym of Master) and shortly thereafter became the Portreve, leader of Castrovalva (Which was in fact an elaborate trap for the Doctor). Later on, he adopted weirder disguises such as Kaled (In Time Flight) and Sir Giles Estram (In King's Demons). Planet of Fire had an interesting twist, with the companion (Kamelion) assuming the identity of the Master.

For the remainder of the classic series the Master didn't really have disguises. He stole another body in the TV series, that of Bruce the Paramedic. Next we had Yana, which was the Master's persona as a human, and was "So perfect a disguise I forgot who I am". And then of course, Saxon.

There's a fun line in End of Time which references this, that the Master is stuck looking like Saxon (Presumabely, due to his corrupted ressurection he lost the ability to regenerate).

The novels and audios of course continue the trend.
