The Master List: Favorite ST Movies and TV Shows in Order!

Please keep in mind this for the most part is extremely difficult for me, because a lot of these I absolutely love, and it is hard to put some above the others.... but decisions.. decisions! Since most of us haven't gotten to see Beyond yet I'll leave it out.
The Good:
1. Star Trek IV Because it's different and has a good message.
2. Star Trek II - KHANNNNNNNNN
3. Star Trek VI - Another great entry with a strong story.
4. Star Trek: First Contact - Their shining moment!
5. Star Trek: Generations - I think it gets a bit too much hate. I like the crossover appeal.
6. Star Trek: Nemesis - It also gets too much hate. Maybe a bit silly, but strong send-off.
7. Star Trek: The Search for Spock: Solid for an odd-numbered Trek
8. Star Trek 09: Perfectly fine movie. I just can't put it above most of the originals.
9. STID: I enjoyed this one too.
The Bad:
10. Star Trek: Insurrection - Might have been an OK episode.... way too boring as a movie.
11. Star Trek I:- ZzzzzZzzz
12. Star Trek V- "What does God need with a starship?" lolol.

TV Series:
1. TNG: It's much more modern than the original, and I can relate to it more.. plus a really strong cast(except Wesley got a bit annoying).
2. DS9: I liked when it would go a bit darker, and it is one of the greatest war dramas ever too(unique for a Trek!)
3. Enterprise: Always treated with too much hate. It only got better as it went on, and was prematurely cancelled when it was just as good as ANY Trek in Season 4. RIP Trip
4. Voyager: Also a perfectly fine series, but I just prefer others more.
5. TOS: Nothing against TOS. It has great episodes too, but I have trouble relating to it based on its age now.

I prefer some of the TOS movies to the show.... it kicks it up a notch, particularly in the even numbered ones which are all A+'s

And TMP? It was boring, srsly...

and when you look at TOS, even the first season.. there isn't really a whole lot going on. Yes there are some classic great episodes.... like TTWT or whatnot, but still.

That first season of TOS is one of the best seasons in the franchise, bruh. So many great episodes in there, there's a whole lot going on!

Not much going on in TOS...just the entire franchise that gave you the other shows being born, that's all.

If Trek spin-offs have seen further, it was by standing on the shoulders of a giant.

Ehrm, yeah... "The Final Frontier" is indisputably the worst ST movie ever. It's an insult tot rek.

My opinion as of this moment. I'm sure it will change again, sooner or later.

The ten Star Trek movies:
1. Star Trek VI - The perfect TOS finale. Exceptional action adventure.
2. Star Trek: First Contact - Another truly excellent action adventure.
3. Star Trek I - It may be slow, but it is a beautiful, majestic movie. You just have to be in the mood to appreciate it.
4. Star Trek II - Khan. Kirk. Space battles. Yep, it's good.
5. Star Trek III - I...have had....enough....of you! WoK part 2. It's ok.
6. Star Trek IV - I used to like this one more, but the comedy feels a bit dated to me now. Great story though.
7. Star Trek V - The center of the galaxy is stupid, but I like it because it's different and pure TOS at the same time.
8. Star Trek: Generations - A failed patchwork of very interesting scenes. Above average TNG episode.
9. Star Trek: Insurrection - Like OP said, a bloated, very average TNG episode.
10. Star Trek: Nemesis - A failed patchwork of random action and dark 'n gritty 'stuff'. Bleh.

534. Star Trek (Ok action movie I guess. Turn your brain off though, or your brain will be full of plotholes)
535. Into Darkness (Action, action, action, action, KHANNNNN!!!!!! ugh)

The series:
1. TNG/VOY (can't choose because they're so similar)
2. DS9 (slightly below TNG/VOY, because of Bajor politics and Dominion overkill in later seasons)
3. TOS (Kirk, Spock, Bones!!! Dated, but most episodes are still fun to watch. That's a sign of a good show.
4. ENT (Mostly average. And even when it's not it's nowhere near as good as TNG/VOY/DS9)
5. TAS (Some of the episodes are interesting, but the animation and voice acting is awful. I don't like it.)

I dispute that.

I would rather watch TFF 5 times in a row than sit through TMP again. I find it absolutely unwatchable.
