"The Man Trap" Line-by-Line!

Alright, folks, here we go! As before, I compiled a list of everyone who participated in this thread and then numbered the list.

Here's what I came up with:

Those names should be in the order in which each person first posted to the thread. No "weight" is given for who posted more or less often.

(If I inadvertently left anyone off the list of participants, please let me know and I'll try to make it up on the next go-around.)

I then used a random number generator -- www.random.org, to be specific -- and had it pick a number between 1 and 11. And the winner is...

So, Kolrad, the next move is yours. Would you like to select the next episode we are going to do line-by-line? We're sticking with episodes for now since we've already done all the moves save for the 2009 film. But as far as I'm concerned, you can pick any episode from any of the Trek series that you like.

Once a new episode has been chosen, I will fire up the next line-by-line thread in the appropriate forum and post the link here

It's really hard to choose just one episode from the entirety of Star Trek. But I would have to say that overall, I think the original series has the best writing and dialogue.

If there are no objections, how about another early classic, Where No Man Has Gone Before?

Kolrad, as Ziz has said, our previous thread was actually "Where No Man Has Gone Before." I'm sorry you missed that one. But that and "The Man Trap" are the only two episodes we have done thus far, so you have the entirety of the rest of the franchise, save for the movies, to pick from.

Yeah, but new episode means new thread, "Measure of a Man" would obviously get started by CoveTom in the TNG forum.

Whoever picks the next episode after "The Measure of a Man" might pick an episode for TOS. I know that when it comes time for me to pick one, it will most likely be a TOS episode. But until then, I guess we'll be going to the TNG thread when CoveTom starts the thread.

And leandar is right. We've been doing just one thread at a time, and whatever series the person chooses from, we just go to that forum. So after "The Measure of a Man," if the next person picks a TOS episode, we'll come back here. Or a DS9 episode would take us to the DS9 forum. Etc. I figure it would get too complicated if we tried to have threads going for each series at the same time.
