Anyone seen this Amazon production yet? I'm ashamed to say I've never read the book, so I don't know how closely it follows the book. But's it an excellent production, and for what it is, very good special effects and sets, and the acting is very good.

It was also kind of a trip seeing Hitler as an old man. The actor they got kind of looks like an old man Hitler. I have no idea if this is just a limited mini-series, or if there'll be a second season. But the 10 episodes they have are available on Amazon.

I can tell you this without a spoiler. The character of the main Nazi guy in charge of the US is wonderfully acted. In fact, the entire cast (of unknowns to me) did a fantastic job. I'm going to have to read the book now to see how closely the Amazon series follows it.

I thought the production values were great and the minor character's acting was top notch. But the three leads were so bland I really couldn't care less what happened to them.

Plus the plot was a mess. A lot of frantic running around to ultimately get nowhere.

The interesting thing for me was the revelation about the films. I could have just watched Episode 1 and Episode 10 and learned what I wanted to know about them.
