In early 2376, Worf and Ezri Dax recovered the Sword and brought it to Boreth for Martok to use against Gothmara and Morjod. (DS9 duology: The Left Hand of Destiny)

How do they actually manage to find it again, since it would have been drifting through space for several years, after it was beamed there at the end of "The Sword of Kahless" in DS9 Season 4.

It had barely moved at all, as I recall.

Remember Newton's Laws of Motion. An object in motion stays in motion. An object at rest stays at rest. It's not like it was moving at warp speed. A little mathematics, a little basic physics, and there you have it.

Movement in space is pretty basic. If they knew where the sword was when they beamed it out, and if they knew what direction it was drifting in and how fast, that would let them pinpoint its position pretty easily. And it was just drifting anyway, so it couldn't have travelled very far from its starting point in just a few years.
