Season One: Yesteryear
Wild Card: Beyond the Farthest Star
Season Two: Albatross
Wild Card: The Pirates of Orion

So now it's time for the final part.

My vote for this round goes to "THE PIRATES OF ORION".

All these are good, but this is the weakest of the four.

I literally have to go back and look at the threads from the year that "Pirates Of Orion" won the whole thing. What was the competition that year?

I agree that it is the weakest of these four. I even like it (putting it on right now in fact), but it is a good regular ep, while the other three are each special or outstanding in some way.

I'm eliminating The Pirates of Orion, it's okay but the others are better.
For the next round I vote for Yesteryear. Beyond the farthest star is my favorite out of the remaining ones and if I have to chose between Yesteryear and Albatross I think I kinda prefer Albatross, them casually using the Guardian of Forever to get the Yesteryear plot started is weird considering they accidentally wiped out the Enterprise and possibly the entire federation when they first discovered it and this time they kill Spock by looking at things. That thing is way too dangerous to use.

I'll go "Beyond The Farthest Star." I love it, but I prefer the quirky weirdness of "Albatross" and the emotional punch of "Yesteryear."

Voting for "ALBATROSS" this round.

All three are fantastic, but the ship in "BEYOND THE FARTHEST STAR" was a brilliant, different one. And "YESTERYEAR" is hands down the best episode of TAS. "ALBATROSS" simply got edged out here.

I am also voting for Albatross. The McCoy stuff was good but on the whole, I just enjoy the other episodes more on rewatch.

Beyond the Farthest Star was a good first episode from TAS, easily being as intelligent as TOS. Yesteryear is my final vote, however, because it took everything that we learned from Spock during the show, and expanded it so much. Great little character episode.

I like "Farthest Star" a lot, but "Yesteryear" really is just the best TAS episode. If you have any chance of hooking a TAS skeptic, this is the only one that'll really do it.

I'm actually at my parents house right now, helping pack it up for sale. I put "Farthest Star" on while I packed Saturday morning, and then suddenly got all wistful -- one more time watching Saturday morning cartoons in the childhood home before it's sold! (I followed it with some Lower Decks)
