Wow. 14 deleted scenes...that's a lot for a Star Wars movie. Too bad they don't include the trailers.

^Wait for the double dip. I got the first release of TFA and was quite annoyed when they released a more comprehensive edition later that same year.

Did they re-write the movie? If not, I won't be paying a penny for a DVD copy of this film.

Are they doing a DVD version? An add I saw earlier today only listed Blu-Ray and downloadable versions. Amazon does list a DVD version, but I know they aren't always the most reliable source when it comes to prerelease stuff like this.

Honestly, I'd be very surprised if there wasn't a DVD version. They do still sell.

Yep. Very few places sell BluRays here in Dublin.

But given who asked the question regarding DVD's, I'm not particularly surprised they asked.

Mine has been on pre-order for a week or two. Should be arriving at the house sometime mid-week. BluRay for me, looks pretty damn good on the 4K TV.

Uh, not everybody here likes upgrade treadmills. Or sending perfectly functional technology to the scrap-heap. I still don't have any device capable of reading a Blu-Ray.

And what has that got to do with if a DVD release of Last Jedi will be released? Given I also said they are more available here.

I found dvd only versions on the Target and Walmart websites. I couldn't find a dvd only version on the Best Buy website. Apparently the only way to get a dvd copy of the film at Best Buy is to buy the blu-ray/dvd steelbook combo pack.

I've already decided to buy the Star Wars: The Last Jedi Target Exclusive Blu-Ray/DVD combo-pack that comes with a 40-page booklet including an inside, behind-the-scenes look at the making of Star Wars: The Last Jedi with exclusive images, facts and personal insights from writer/director Rian Johnson. As well as an exclusive featurette “Meet the Porgs” about the making of the lovable characters.
