I am also really looking forward to this. My wife surprised me with 2 Trek t-shirts last night. She said that we are wearing these shirts to the movie. It really warmed my heart to hear that. She was TNG fan back in the early 90's. But she hasnt been into Trek in a long time. Not if I can get my daughter into it I am golden.

an awful lot of kids got turned onto trek either by their parents or when the series was on g4.

as for the over 35 thing..
well a lot of the people i know who are most exicited are easily over that age..
