From the other perspective...
This was "rendered" using Star Trek: Bridge Commander. I may have cheated a little by not using something like 3DS Max and thusly didn't have anywhere near the control of a program like that, but a modded copy of Bridge Commander and my new ATI HD 3850 can still crank out some pretty spectacular stuff! Besides, it took a lot of transporting between the 4 ships to get the placement right.
I submitted it to BCFiles.com's Picture of the Day. I have already had one of my own shots featured so I'm hoping for a sequel.
