The Kelvin's uniforms

Maybe they added the 0 prefix to registry numbers on all ships when the 1000th ship came out.

USS Grissom only had a three digit registry, despite being in service after the 1000th ship.

Hey, guess what?

Nobody but you gives a shit. :bolian:

dude I did not revive this thread to restart this debate. :klingon:

maybe i should have started a new thread. i will quote myself.

now that we have such a clear image of Robau in his uniform, has anyone worked out all the Kelvin era uniforms, rank insignia, color sceme, etc.? are there good images anywhere?

I geek out on this stuff. Thanks.

Yes. And I think the film wouldn't use 'The Cage' like uniforms for the early scenes as they would be too similar to the Enterprise uniforms. And really, there's no real reason to think the Kelvin must have such uniform designs.

What? You don't think Trekkies need to reconcile starship registry numbers? You haven't spent nearly enough time in Trekkie land my friend.

Well, let's recap. Can't clearly see the sleeves.

Look like they sorta have a yoke type thing around the shoulds. Fuck, they stole an idea for a variant uniform I had years ago for an RPG I was in. LOL

Right down the slacks and belt!

Maybe the "0" is just the center of a bullseye...telling the bad guys where to shoot....kinda like saying..."go ahead...shoot me here (where I'm wearing a bulletproof vest)" ?
