My four year old son got his new halloween outfit...BATMAN!!! But I can't help but wonder if The Jokers will out number the Batmans or Ironmans this Halloween... Rob Scorpio
Strange..at the local HALLOWEEN store the have a full head mask of the joker that is more like the Joker from the 70s comic books..I think it looks cooler than the modern joker mask..IMO.. Rob
I'm not entirely sure how well the Joker will do. In some areas he seems more popular than others. My nephew and niece said not many of their friends liked the Joker (they're 10 and 8 respectively). I saw a few Joker costumes at Wal-Mart today.
My prediction is this: There will be a lot of Jokers out there, but most will go the crappy mass marketed route. A few, like myself, will go the Ebay route and try to look as authentic as possible.
amazon.com has a meter showing that their Batman costume is selling better than their Joker costume. 65%-35% http://www.amazon.com/Good-vs-Evil/meters/A3ZKCWKG4097P/ref=pd_zg_lm_lp_rlc
^^ For adults. I bet kids would still want to be Batman. Hopefully, they keep the Joker costumes aways from the pencil aisle.
