I know there was a few people round here interested in when Invisibles was getting a second series, well it looks like bad news.

Comedy drama The Invisibles has been axed by the BBC after one series, it has emerged.
The programme about a pair of retired burglars starring Anthony Head and Warren Clarke won its ratings slot with 4.7 million people tuning in when it premiered last May.
However, it struggled to keep viewers, with audience figures dropping to three million by the end of the series, The Mirror reports.
A BBC spokesman said: "In spite of a great cast and production team, The Invisibles didn't find its audience. We remain very proud of it but it won't be returning."

Bummer.

It was refreshing to see a show that had older characters who had flaws, concerns and skills, without being made into sad, tired stereotypes.

Plus, it was often funny as hell.

Ah well.
