The Incredible Hulk - The Video Game

Has anyone picked this up ? It might turn out to be rubbish, but Ctrl-Alt-Del's Tim seemed to like it and the idea of fighting Iron Man in Hulkbuster armour appeals to me.

While wandering around a few games stores yesterday I noticed it had been released for the Xbox 360 but not the PS3. The PS3 version is out next week. I'm guessing that Sega don't want to even try to compete with Metal Gear Solid 4 with PS3 owners, but that's no problem for the 360.

I havent gotten. I have thought about it though. But typically, games based around movies are poor since they were thrown together. Most of the reviews gave it the same score as Ironman the video game got.

Metacritic gives it an average score of 62%.

Iron Man got 42%.

Though I played the Iron Man demo and quite enjoyed it.

^Played that and completed it in a few hours.

After that, I tried the Keys to the City mode and maxed out my stats etc. Completed it again within about 45 minutes. Kind of shows you that while it's a good game, it's incredible shallow and short.

I guess I took a while with it because I levelled up my character the slow, painful way.
But yeah, there really isn't much to do in terms of the missions, but tooling around the city and climbing buildings was fun.

^I did all the levelling I needed to do to beat each boss. If I was struggling, I just went off and levelled up as necessary.

There's no variety. It's pretty much just find out where the boss is, kill him, move on.

Heh, talk about cross marketing. From GameFAQs:

Hulkbuster (Iron Man) Have a saved game file from Iron Man

Yeah, I went for the achievements.
And yep, the core game was pretty much the same thing over and over again. 12 boss fights. I just enjoyed the fact that you can bounce around the city fairly quickly. That verticality was fun.
