No matter how many times in however many different situations they use this scene it is still funny.

But what movie is this from?

The scene was taken from 'Downfall' (original title: 'Der Untergang'), a 2004 German film about the last twelve days of Adolf Hitler...

... and even though I'm both German and a lecturer for modern history, I find it - how would Spock put it? - amusing. :vulcan:

Best Downfall Parody of Trek that I've seen. I only wish that the subtext guy had used larger typeface.

    Superb!

Not to worry, though. Hitler will be in line at Midnight!!!

Gee, I knew that Hitler was a whacked-out control freak but I didn't know that he was a canonite! Sad.

I've probably seen that dozens of times, now, and I still think it's a great job. They get all the little details right.

    Oh my god....

Hitler was the original classic fan. I mean, he knew BEFORE he could have known. Dude may have been insane but....he had taste.

    Very funny.
And very frightening what happens with me when I watch that.
I am German, and when I listen to what Hitler actually shouts I understand every word. But as soon as I concentrate on the captions I start only hearing "Schtonk speech" (The fake German from Chaplin's The Great Dictator. Amazing how accurate Chaplin was. I never realized!:wtf:

Now all we need is a version depicting Hiter's reaction to the unveiling of the new Enterprise.
