The Grim Reaper Visits Smallville

^
Four

And I'm guessing many others. But I guess, at this point, viewership really doesn't matter. It's sorta like a President in the final year of his second term.

And here I thought (or rather hoped) that the thread title was a euphemism for Smallville's imminent cancellation. :klingon:

And the Daily Planet needs Perry White right now. That's the real dynamic they are missing with Lois and Clark, the Perry angle. It is time that he takes his destined place as editor in chief of the Planet.

I agree, if they could get McKean even part-time, it would give the storyline a further push into Superman territory. That, and if they succeed in convincing Rosenbaum back for part of the season would make for some decent viewing, even without our beloved, tiny blonde.

Hell, this show veered so far away from alot of the Superman mythos, I'd be just as happy to see Chole put on the Superman suit. Screw Clark.

Okay, rant over. I'm just pissed about Chole.

How many times have we thought were were going to loose our sweet clovage only to have her keep on going? Chloe is the obvious candidate and has been for years, but I wouldn't look past seeing Tess get the axe. I also wouldn't be surprised if there's a repositioning towards superman with Michael McKean joining the cast and Ollie going off to star city.

^ Justin Hartley has signed for next season so Ollie won't be going to Star City just yet. As I mentioned in a previous post Cassidy Freeman has also signed for next season so Tess is not getting the axe. As far as anyone knows Allison Mack and Callum Blue are the only two people from this season who have not resigned. I think I'm already done with Smallvile, Chloe staying or not next season. I haven't made up my mind yet.

I hope it is Chloe, she really has no where to go as a character, unless they plan on turning her evil which would really be character assassination of the highest order. Where as killing her would remove Clark's confidant and guardian angel and hopefully push him into becoming a real hero.

I really don't care who they kill if they can bring back Lex for a number of episodes however.
