The Gilded Age is an HBO series (to be streamed on Crave in Canada) set during the so-named era of U.S. history. The series was created by Julian Fellowes, though it is (so far as I'm aware) not intended to be connected to Downton Abbey story-wise.

Is anyone here going to be keeping an eye out for this series?

I'm definitely curious. The costumes and sets alone should be worth it. I think it will depend on how creative and interesting they can be with the story.

Yeah, we just started on the first episode last night. I think it has opportunity for some great storytelling. It's a very rich and textured era, one in which many inventions were being made, such as the telephone.
