Aside from working on finishing up "The Great Awakening" I have also been working on some other Kzinti vessels. Most notably is the Giant Killer from the 1982 Star Trek comic strip, "The Wristwatch Plantation".
I am fairly convinced that the artist for "The Wristwatch Plantation", Ron Harris, was influenced by the design of Gelvades Space Battleship-Carrier from Space Battleship Yamato (TOS) when he drew up the nacelles for the Giant Killer. The styling at the end of the nacelles, plus the overall structure I think directly reflect off of the body of the Gelvades..
Working off of that and trying to integrate "known" technology from my work on the Cheshire Cat class warship,
I came up with this sketch for an idea on how I might handle the design of the nacelle. The Flux Constriction is "new" to the design, as is the Space Matrix Restoration Coil Assembly and as before they would be stolen or salvaged UESPA / Federation warp technology.. thoughts, opinions, and comments are welcome.
