I'll suffice it to say that I was riveted when Bill was on the screen in a way I haven't been this season so... mileage varying and all! :)

Did you miss the April 1965 episode in which Nimoy and Michael Ansara play brothers?

Sadly, I did, and since it was late in the season, it didn't get rerun over the summer. That's what happens when you live in the moment...but if you have snapshots from it, please feel free to share!

More from this week -- Michael Barrier (Vincent DeSalle) in Bonanza on the 14th:

And Mr. Dunn as a recurring bad guy in Wild Wild West yesterday:

Sounds like I'm a little looser about scheduling my 50th and 55th anniversary viewing...

I hope that the Galactic Journey included listening to the US version of Rubber Soul today!

You'd better believe it! My daughter (16) who has been on the Journey with me, and so is very in tune with "current" music trends, exclaimed, "Where did this come from?"

    It's very now.

We also listened to The Who's "My Generation" album, which came out the same day. A few days later, "Turn, Turn, Turn" came out, which was good, too.

Alright -- a really good find today... on Gidget:

That would be a British import at this point in the timeline; the American version came out in April '66, IIRC.

When I was around the same age in 1987, "Norwegian Wood" was about the trippiest thing I'd ever heard.

Jason Sacks goes to England about as often as I go to Japan. He makes sure I'm always supplied...

Didn't he play a Russian on that episode?

A SWEDE -- one of those dark, Brooklyn Swedes...

From yesterday's episode of The Virginian (Doohan's Irish sounds like his Scottish):

Jackpot with this week's I Spy! Going from least to most prestigious:

I knew the Organians were faking -- look at that tie! Clearly an advanced race.

It is so trippy to see William Shatner in '66 doing something other than Trek:

Sorry for the delay. I haven't been watching as much TV as usual (and amazingly, it seems the Trek cast is busy with something these days...)

Here's Bill Shatner in Dr. Kildare on February 22:

And here's Sherry Jackson from the 1960 film, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (a rerun we watched because it has Tony Randall in it!)

Time travel, for me, only works in quanta of 55 years! :) And, of course, one second per second.
