The Force Unleashed...(Spoilers!)

True, with some tweaking the Force Unleashed would've made an awesome film.

About Shaak Ti I'm not sure she's dead. We never saw a body. And the way it was drawn in the comics I never got that she was stabbed in the chest. I'm guardedly optimistic that she survived mainly because I like the character.

Given (and I'm a little sketchy as I have had weird periods of sleep the past few days) that she was coughing up blood and fell in a Sarlacc's pit...I will assume she is dead.

I guess the 'official' word is that she is dead. However, who knows when GL might decided to undead her just like he did for ROTS?

Coughing up blood and falling into a pit are two things that a Jedi might be able to survive, with their healing abilities and leaping abilities.

Shaak-Ti is one of the more popular members of the Jedi Council. It would be a shame not to have her available for the upcoming live action show that's supposed to be based during The Dark Times.

He also had a small arsenal of personal weaponry and explosives, so getting out of the thing shouldn't have been too much of a challenge.

Have we seen someone survive a lightsaber impact directly to their heart?

In LOTF Kyle Katarn survived a lightsaber in the chest, admittedly it didn't pierce his heart. However, Shaak-Ti isn't human.

I know that GL had planned to kill off Quinlan Vos in ROTS comic. There is even a 'death' scene in there, but they found a way around that when GL wanted to perhaps use him for the new live-action show. So, I don't think Shaak-Ti is completely off the table until we see a body.

So was Boba Fett. Lucas is nothing if not fickle.
I actually wish he had gone through with filming that extra bit where he escapes from the Sarlacc for the SE. It would have made a good post credits clip.
