The "First Crew" cast chat on the s2 blu ray question

So I'm not the biggest fan of Season 2, some great episodes but a lot I'm not really bothered about. Anyway the extras on the Trek blu rays are so good they're worth buying just for them! So I picked this up the other day, and for a very good price.

The First Crew "round table" on disc 1 in particular is excellent. Featuring all 7 cast members and Brannon Braga.
But just two quick questions, Connor Trinneer leaves after a short time and is replaced by Jeffrey Combs, but its never said why. Did he just have to go for some reason?

Also Dominic Keating talks about running into a fellow actor at a convention who had appeared for a few episodes in the Xindi arc and who was now the lead on his own show ("one of those supernatural shows.")
And he was letting Keating know how the professionalism he saw on the ENT set, especially from Scott Bakula, influenced how he behaved now on the set of his own show.
Anyone know which actor he was referring to out of interest? Granted this docu was filmed in 2013 I think

Well Jeffrey dean morgan wasn't the lead on "Supernatural" but it sounds like him

I had to pay my bills. I knew I’d play some guy saying some stuff. Then I got a call saying I needed to go in for a prosthetic fitting. I remember them dripping goop on my face, and I had straws sticking out of my nose. I couldn’t eat lunch. I was claustrophobic. I’d go home in tears. This was the job that made me want to quit acting.

Until this moment I had NO IDEA Jeffrey Dean Morgan was in Enterprise!!!! I have to rewatch "Carpenter Street" now.

Well, unfortunately, after an experience like that, it's unlikely that JDM would ever want to do Trek again :( although I think he would also make a great Christopher Pike. (As would Jon Hamm.)

If large amounts of money are involved and no 2 hour sessions in the makeup chair he might make a cameo?
