When Harve Bennett proposed the Star Trek Academy film in the early 90's, who were the actors that were being considered to play Kirk and Spock? Just curious.

I recall reading somewhere that Ethan Hawke was on the shortlist for James T. Kirk, while John Cussak was on the shortlist for Spock. I've never heard or read anything about the casting for McCoy.

Since it never got greenlit, I doubt any serious casting considerations where made other than blueskying names: "wouldn't ____ make a good Kirk?"
