Back cover blurb:

One simple act, and the troubles of the United Federation of Planets have grown darker overnight. The mystery behind the heinous terrorist attack that has rocked the Federation to its core grows ever deeper, and William Riker finds himself beset by rumors and half-truths as the U.S.S. Titan is ordered back to Earth on emergency orders from the admiralty. Soon, Riker finds himself drawn into a game of political intrigue, bearing witness to members of Starfleet being detained—including people he considered friends—pending an investigation at the highest levels. And while Riker tries to navigate the corridors of power, Titan’s tactical officer, Tuvok, is given a series of clandestine orders that lead him into a gray world of secrets, lies, and deniable operations. Who can be trusted when the law falls silent and justice becomes a quest for revenge? For the crew of the U.S.S. Titan, the search for answers will become a battle for every ideal the Federation stands for.

Fair enough. Maybe one of the mods would be so kind as to fold the two together?

In any case, the cover looks amazing. And the back-cover blurb sounds cool, too. Indications of some covert-type political stuff going on:

And, MAN does that new render of the Titan look terrific!

Fantastic art, but also a blurb that really has me excited about Titan again!!!!

I generally don't have many feelings towards ship covers, as I'm a sucker for the more illustrative covers of the German releases...but this one is really nice. Love the composition and the weightless feel to it.

Sounds like some drama is going down...

I suggest we fold this one into the other as the first two messages have the link to the article on startrek.com and the cover with the description blurb. So it's all there in messages 1 & 2 instead of spread about.

Fixed. I've added the blurb and link to the first post.

Re: Star Trek: The Fall: The Poisoned Chalice preview

Sounds like it will be an interesting story, and great cover, too, thanks for posting!

This one sounds like it's going to be awesome! I have a good feeling James Swallow will bring life back to the Titan line of books.

I really love this cover. I hope the book will also be that good.

That is a beautiful cover for a very exciting sounding book. I wonder if the terrorist attack it refers to is the event from R&D or if it refers to something that happens in one of the other two books?

Beautiful cover of the good ship Titan. Very nice. :techman:

Titan is my favorite novel series and this sounds likely to be a great new addition to the series. I can't wait until November.
