Dempsey sends his people after Sean and Leila as they try to find Samantha. Meanwhile, Sophia tries to deal with those of her people who disagree with her agenda.

I took over the Chuck thread and made sure there was no new Castle, but then forgot to make a thread for this episode. However, it looks like no one cared enough about this show to notice.

It was slightly better than last week but still not good. Usually these type of mystery shows are hard to judge because early on it is just a bunch of seemingly random jumble of pieces that come into a more interesting focus as the show progresses--which is why I try to give these long term storyline serials a bit more leeway-- but I'm seeing no evidence of this yet which it should have started manifesting nearly halfway into the season.

All I see is aimless storytelling with tired action movie plots. Maybe next week's fall finale will tighten things up but based on the promo it looks as silly as V and I dumped it about 9 episodes in too--I'd hate to dump yet another show but tv just sucks anymore.

The previews for this episode made it look SO BORING! I haven't bothered to watch any of this show yet (mostly because the previews are lame), but good lord, this episode's preview was ridiculous. I think ER lady was sleeping, even though her son was apparently pointing a gun at her face.

I think 2 things were going on there. One she has an odd look to her and the character is pretty emotionless. Maybe three things since the directing was kind of shitty.

The leader of the aliens is one psycho crazy women. A Jim Jones in alien flesh. Kill them all now!!
and I still do not care about the story of the missing sister. That whole arc just stalls this series to death. I know its going to lead to revealing a second alien race or something but can we get there already.
