The Enterprise meets your other favorite ships

Donnewtype

Lieutenant
Red Shirt
Good day all. Part of what got me modelling the Enterprise is that I had worked up a version of another favorite ship from my youth. Back in public school, I remember catching Star Trek and Starblazers ( aka Space Battleship Yamato) Remember that one? on the local Buffalo station and on the local French channel was Space Pirate Harlock or Albator. Now after rediscovering Harlock from the 2013 CGI movie (not even close to the manga or anime designs) I challenged myself to building the Green Arcadia

The one with the Skull and Crossbones on the bow of course

Here is my version in Sketchup

And now after building the Enterprise, I can have Kirk meeting another famous Captain:

Going to have to build the Yamato next. Oh boy!

With all the different ships out there, who would you have the Enterprise meet?

Suggestions:
Andromeda Ascendant (Gene Rodenberry's Andromeda)
Valley Forge (Silent Running)
Moya (Farscape)
The Mothership (Close Encounters of the Third Kind)

SHIELD Helicarrier? Any version of the Helicarriers...and yes, I know they're not spacecraft, strictly speaking.

Holly Cows!!! I remember Black Hole, I actually liked it. Cheese with a mild bite of tension and implied horror. If I remember right, the Captain forcibly lobotomized the crew so he could carry out his mad plan to travel into the black hole.
I can see a Federation ship approaching a half wrecked Cygnus with a unsettled look on the crew's face as they
ask 'What is..."

And Blake 7. Got to love British SciFi. That is a great image too, Maurice.

^^Yep a whole crew of lobotomized "servants" and of course Maximilian which really is one of the more sinister robot designs out there..
Hmm if you like British SF then it would be impossible to ignore Red Dwarf.. :D

I'll throw in my vote for a run-in with the Cygnus, too! Always had a soft spot for the ol' death ship. I'd love to see her modelled in all her glory.
