So telstra is going to be out millions in fines because they had equipment in play well past it's effective date.
The timeservers being used date back to 2006 and have firmware bug so now if reset they're back to the original date/time.
It's not mentioned whether it can be corrected manually (in which case telstra staff might not have known) or simply not possible.
Either way for a piece of equipment that would cost $1000s to replace is going to cos them a lot more.
And Jeff's mispronuciation of telstra aka tel$tra aka helstra is mentioned in the comments/
