The Doctor's Family

Over Christmas I was given the complete Voyager series as a gift and I was recently rewatching the episode "Real Life". In it the Doctor develops a holographic family so that he can simulate life as a family man (his is the Brady Bunch; Torres reprograms it into something like Malcolm in the Middle or The Middle). In the episode the Doctor's holographic daughter is injured and passes away following an accident at a school game and the final scene is the Doctor with his holographic family.

They were never seen again.

My question is has his holographic family ever made a return appearance in any of the novels?

As far as I know, they have never been mentioned in any of the novels. They were erased from existance after that episode.

The Doctor's family can't come back. They were all killed when he used the Moment to destroy Gallifrey and end the Time War.
