The Difference Between Men and Women

Let's name some.

I'll start:

When a man meets someone he knows and hasn't seen in a while he'll usually give that guy a smile, maybe a reverse head nod/thrust, a simple "what's up, man?" and a handshake.

When a woman meets someone she open-gapes her mouth, squeals, and begins saying things loudly. So loudly that you could, oh I don't know, hear her two stalls over in a Sonic lot. (And why do they have a friggin' Handicapped parking space?! :wtf:) ":squeeealllll: OHMYGODIHAVEN'TSEENYOUINLIKETWODAYS!!!!!"

What are some others?

girls answer me this, what is with the squealing?

men: able to go to the toilet by themselves

girls: it takes 3 girls minimum just for 1 girl to go to the toilet

The whole grudge thing. I've seriously seen this happen. Two guys get in a fight, throw a couple punches, then go get drunk and are just fine. And it's usually about a (insert sport here) team.

Two girls will yell at each other for 20 minutes, then hate each other for the rest of the their lives. And it's usually over which (Insert accessory here) match which outfits.

I'm still trying to figure out the thing with the shoes.

They go on your feet ;)

I couldn't resist...
...and I think the following chart indicates one major difference which women need to one day put right.

Men come out and say what's bothering them. Women expect you to know, and if you don't know - you're in trouble.

Also, men try to fix problems when informed of them. Women don't want their problems fixed - they want sympathy.

These are of course generalizations. There are lots of people who break the mold on both sides.... but in my experience this is usually true.

Also... if a woman asks a man what she's done to upset him, he'll likely be honest and tell them. No matter what her answer will be, rest assured, it's still the mans fault. If a man asks a woman... 95% of the time the answer is 'nothing' and folded arms.

Men keep their shoes on at work. I'm yet to work in an office where all the women are able to keep their shoes on their feet at all times. But then all the offices I've worked in the women were all referred to by their name. The men made up names for each other.

Most women I know tend to have in depth and lengthy conversations on the phone. Most men I know only need two sentences. "Pub?" and "Ten minutes."

Dude, have you met my gf or something? cause thats a perfect example of her.

Heh, it's hell isn't it? That's been the attitude of several women I've dated - I usually end up just saying 'ok' and going about my business. Usually if I ignore it they get frustrated and tell me. Eventually

I've noticed this too, women have the damnest time keeping their shoes on their damn feet. Either the shoe is completley, slipped off being dangled by the toes, etc, etc. etc. What's the deal with that ladies?

Women's shoes are made by misogynistic bastards who make them as uncomfortable as possible for the sake of fashion.

Not me, my shoes are comfy, mostly flats and stay on my feet :)

A very interesting question, and the answers are endless, and unfortunately pointless. As no matter what position one takes on this, the person of the opposite sex (not sexual orientation) will argue almost, sometimes, to the death that you are totally wrong.

Well I'd argue they're buying the wrong shoes. ;)

And are ballet flats really that unfomfortable waranting the sliping them off and balancing/bouncing them on your toe?

There's guys in my office who take off their shoes. No, I don't get it either. I have been known to wear extremely frivolous shoes to work - ah, heck, I love to wear extremely frivolous shoes - but I make sure that no matter how frivolous they are, I can bear to keep them on my feet. And then there are these guys who wear what appear to be regular guy-type shoes, but sometimes when you walk into their offices, particularly after hours, they'll be there in their stocking feet. Very odd.

And those who say men will always tell you what's wrong don't know (1) my father; (2) my ex-husband; (3) my current and final husband; or (4) about half of my male friends. What they say is, "Never mind, I'll get over it." You should be able to imagine some ominous-sounding music behind those words.
