With The Sarah Jane Adventures ending its run in the UK tomorrow, I thought folks might get a chuckle out of this.
Back in 2008 the first season actually aired on the Sci-Fi Channel (aka Syfy) in the US. They only showed the first season as far as I know, and I don't think any of the other seasons have actually aired in the US (please correct me if I'm wrong).
Anyway at one point in 2008 Nielsen put out a list of the "Top 30 Most Engaging Programs". And no, I'm not really sure what that means either.
But the list shows Doctor Who sitting at #22 (about 7 spots below Stargate Atlantis), with Sarah Jane in a 3-way tie for #26 with Eureka and something called Tabatha's Salon Takeover.
Battlestar Galactica was down at #30.
Just a little smile for the show as it heads to the end.

(I wish I could get the thing to work that embeds the links (must not like my browser) - sorry about that heavy URL)
