Looking around the web, most of the discussion of The Dark Tower treats Eddie Dean as if he is from Keystone or 'real' earth and indeed most of the time the way that King writes the story that is how he is treated.
However how do we reconcile this with the fact that on one of his visits to Keystone earth, Eddie finds out that where he grew up (co-op city) is in a geographically different place than on keystone earth?
(The most likely real world explanation is that King got it wrong when he first wrote about it and then wrote that error into the book).
