Loved it when I first saw it. I've only seen it once or twice since, but am still amazed at the reality and detail of the world Henson and Oz created.
My biggest association with the film though actually has to do with an entirely different film. When I was young my older brother and sister and brother-in-law and I all went to this film that they were really excited about although it puzzled me why. After the film started they got really confused and wondered why the film was totally different then they thought. I had to explain to them that the film they thought they were going to see was called the Dark Crystal and that we were actually watching the Secret of NIMH.
