Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was the only thing I had been watching on the CW for quite some time. I'm not really interested in the new shows. But I'm not their target demographic, so not surprising I guess.

I like the idea of a Nancy Drew show in principle, but I was hoping for something closer in tone to Veronica Mars than this, which feels like a Riverdale knockoff from the trailer.

Honestly, too, I think it's kind of a shame that we no longer really seem to have prime-time network TV meant for family viewing, suitable for kids to watch with their parents, like the old Hardy Boys-Nancy Drew Mysteries TV series from my childhood. Things that have traditionally been for kids, like Archie and Nancy Drew, all have to be these dark, sexy adult dramas now. As an adult I've got nothing against sexy, but it seems a shame to leave kids out of the audience for things that used to be meant for them. Besides, even as an adult, I often find kids' shows more entertaining, because a lot of adult shows are trying too hard to prove how adult they are by being ultraserious and cynical and gratuitously violent and just aren't as much fun.

I miss it so much :wah: But I’ve kind of been watching Jane The Virgin. It’s pretty fun.

Meanwhile LEGO releases a Stranger Things set so you can build a LEGO set from a horror show! Woohoo!

We live in weird times. I'm by no means a 'family values' person but I would like some light hearted silly dramedy shows.

One reason I like the Netflix Lost in Space reboot is that it actually is a family show like the original, just as suitable for audiences of all ages (and also far better written and made than the original, succeeding at being what the original tried but failed to be). So at least such things still exist somewhere.

Supernatural is the only show left I watch on the CW (and I think the last show I gave a chance to was Frequency), so once it's gone so am I. Never got into the superhero shows due to the writing. To me it's an okay network that makes okay shows.

Would have been pretty awesome if Nancy Drew was put into the Supernatural universe though lol.
