The CW renews: The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends, Supernatural

CW is treating Supergirl so much better than CBS even cared. Glad to see it got an early renewal. Also, I'll be all caught up with Arrow by the time season 6 starts so I guess there's another show added to all that I already watch.

Even though me being only on Season 4 of Arrow I have to ask. Will they not be doing flashbacks in season 6? They've now approached the 5 year span in which flashbacks will be basically season 1. Of course not knowing what happens in the back half of season 4 or Season 5 so far, maybe they are slowing down the pace of the flashbacks.

Good lord! Supernatural won't die.

Glad to see Constantine continue but I wish they were doing a live-action series.

The rest is no surprise.

Here's the answer

I don't want to see any flashforwards. I may be at the Legends episode of Arrow, but I know who the Grave was for and I don't know if I can deal with speculation every week about how we get to a certain point. I do like the idea of Curtis getting some flashbacks though, as I am currently (Again, currently being 2 years behind) enjoying his chemistry with Felicity but I don't want the flash forwards being an end point that the season has to get to.

I think doing it in animation would open up the possibilities much more for the kind of magic and supernatural phenomena they could depict. Anyway, the fact that it's from Berlanti and CW Seed means it'll presumably be in Earth-1 continuity, unlike the Justice League Dark DVD movie that also featured Ryan as an animated Constantine. So more Earth-1 Constantine is good no matter what medium it's in.

^These days, I'm more surprised when The CW doesn't renew a show. I don't know if I've ever seen a network so reluctant to cancel.
