History Channel's most popular non-scripted program returns on Tuesday, November 5 at 9:00 P.M. EST, with a two-hour long premier:
While I don't know anything definitive yet about what has occurred on the island this past summer, I can tell you that when my wife and I were there on June 1, we saw an awful lot of activity and preparation for a massive seismic testing, all over the eastern end of the island, along with the presence of workers from Eagle Canada. Without actually saying it, Rick Lagina confirmed this when we met him, Marty and Dave Blankenship on the morning of June 3.
Also, about ten days after our visit, I saw photos posted online by someone who had just come off of the walking tour that showed a large drilling platform erected in the swamp, something that hadn't been there on June 1. And one of my sources has hinted at something he's not at liberty to talk about yet, so my gut feeling is that further proof of human activity below-ground, prior to 1795, has been found.
Based on what I've seen and the information I've managed to glean, this should prove to be a very interesting and informative season (and likely the longest, at a reported 36 episodes).
