The 1977 thriller starring James Brolin, Kathleen Lloyd and Ronny Cox about a mysterious, indestructible black car that terrorizes a small town. The title car was customized from a 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark III by the legendary George Barris.

I just watched this again recently. I loved the sound the horn made as the Car was coming to get someone.

Fenders were 20 gauge steel shaped over the original body. The grill was hand made from square steel tubing. Four bumpers made from heavy 18 gauge steel. Seven inch single headlights sunk behind the grill and fender.

Made to run over folks all right....

Can you imagine the chrome maw of this thing behind a smart-for-two?
