I just watched this documentary that Shatner made for the first time this evening and I absolutely loved it. I especially enjoy his interview with Patrick Stewart. There are definitely moments when it looks like both of them are going to start crying.

Also, did it seem like Avery Brooks may have possibly done a little too much LSD(or as Kirk said in IV, 'LDS')? He's pretty out there.
 
I just watched it on Netflix and it was quite enjoyable and touching at times.

Avery is pretty cosmic, but all jazz musicians are like that.
 
We've had two discussions about this in here which is why I guess there are so few responses to this thread. If you want you can look at what others had to say by using the board's search function.
I think the consensus was that Avery Brooks was indeed a little out there. ;) I really liked the film, too, it made me appreciate Kate Mulgrew's work more (Voyager is my least liked Trek). I laughed at Shatner#s shenanigans with Pine.
