Cool news for that segment of the Van Diagram that overlaps between Trekkies and musical theatre fans!

Isa Briones ("Soji Asha," "Kore Soong") and Jon Jon Briones ("Confederation Magistrate") are joining the cast of the Broadway production of Hadestown! Isa will play the female lead, Eurydice, while Jon Jon will play Hermes. It will be Isa's Broadway debut.

I can't way to hear their renditions of the show's songs! Her rendition of "Blue Skies" gave me chills.

I saw her in the touring company of Hamilton back in May 2018 before Picard was even announced. I always thought she played Eliza but looking back at the pictures, I have a shot of the "At this performance..." placard and apparently she played Peggy. Have her autograph on a program somewhere.
