The Borg and the Matrix

Not sure I understand the question? Unimatrix Zero is a byproduct of the Borg as explained in Voyager. So yeah, there is a connection.

I think the OP is asking if Unimatrix Zero and the Matrix (as in Keanu Reeves, Neo, Trinity etc) are connected.

I always thought The Matrix would be best viewed as a sequel to the Terminator movies...

No, the question is, are the Borg connected to "The Matrix,"
Arnold Schwarzenegger's character in the movie Commando.

(let off some warp plasma Bennet ...)

:)

Woops, I phrased the question wrong. What I meant to say is is the Q continuum connected to unimatrix zero?

I think the Unimatrix zero is like a dream...resulting from some brain activities resulting in some brain waves being created...

I'm thinking that Q syphens off and drains the nural psychic energy that is being deprived the Borg and that energy is being used to create unimatrix zero and the Q continuum.

That could be a possibility... The brain is such a mysterous organ and with Borg advanced technologies...I supposed anything is possible. :bolian:

The queen said it was something in the brain wave frequency...when she was trying to isolate it. I guess all the people had the same frequency when they were regenerating that caused it.

The Q consider the Borg a toy; a play thing. They throw the Borg at other entities and see what happens.

Man being taken over by machines goes all the way back to the 50's with Issac Asmiov.

Terminator
Matrix
Borg
Brainiac

It's Cyberphobia

Actually, Q yelled at his son never to provoke the Borg when Q Jr. did exactly that to Voyager.

When Q himself "threw the Borg" at the Enterprise D it was only because he was acting out after Picard rejected him.

Was it not a cry for help to help him solve this problem that he created that gives him ultimate power.
