Yes, it's related to quantum mechanics, but I suppose the details don't really matter and I don't think this can easily be explained here, anyway (not to mention, I'd have difficulties writing that in English).

Rather, reactions as seen in this thread were basically the point of the t-shirt.

I've seen this show a couple times and this was one of the best yet. In my opinion it's a great sleeper show. I just have to ask myself why I don't watch it every week.
