I used to hear how good this show was but had never watched it.
Then about a month ago all the episodes of Season 1 & 2 were given to me by a friend and I watched them all in 2 days.

It was even more stilted than that...something like "And I come to understand that your mother is quite obese ... " That guy's a hoot.

The "unofficial robot fight between sworn enemies" stuff reminded me of the second season episode of Spaced where there was an...umm...unofficial robot fight between sworn enemies.

I really enjoyed this one - first time in a long time I got to see one in first run. They needed a Terminator joke though...

Thought it was pretty average compared to some other episodes this season that had me in pain from laughing so much. I'm not a huge fan of Howard fan at all, and this one didn't do much to change my opinion.

Agreed. It was only average. It had some funny moments, of course, but I just wasn't feeling it.

But, as usual, Sheldon cracks me up.
