The Better Comedy - Tribbles or Piece of the Action

Tough call between the two, but I will say A Piece of the Action.

I'm glad to see some mentioned I, Mudd which I do think is the funniest. I would rate A Piece of the Action higher than Tribbles, though. All are just fun to watch in repeated viewings. They should come up with a Funny Trek episode collection now that I think about it and put tons of blooper reels in to make it complete. A collection with no pretensions at seriousness. (I mean a collection from all the series...)

I agree that Piece of the Action was better. But boohoo my kids "lost" the DVD with the Trouble with Tribbles, Wolf in the Fold, etc. I have the entire 3 seasons complete set but that DVD is missing in action. Would you, or any one else who reads this be able to make me a copy of the DVD? I will pay for it. I have looked to try and get the original but they don't sell single dvds from the set. It's just not right to have all but one. Can you help?

I, Mudd was always my favorite 'funny' episode.

In regards to Tribble vs Action. I like them both, and when I was younger I preferred Tribble, but now I'd say Action is the funnier of the two. Heck, I've got a friend who only likes TOS Trek, and her favorite episode is A Piece of the Action.

With as much talk for I, Mudd, I decided to watch that episode tonight. It was good, but I think I still liked Piece of the Action better. It just felt more fun and if Piece of the Action is over the top, than what would you call the cast putting on fake performance to overcome beautiful android women? Not saying it was a bad episode per say, in fact it was pretty good, but I'd probably rank it after Piece and Tribbles.

I LOVE both! Tribbles is awesome because of its character parody and the Heroes against Klingons arc, and Piece is just tremendously funny because it's so over-the-top and has some classic, memorable scenes in it.

overall for the entire length of the episode piece of the action.
for comedic moments tribbles has it with the tribbles raining on my head scene and the lead up to the bar fight , the fight itself and the immediate after math.

Always was a favorite episode, then Tribles and Tribulations came along and I adore them both.

A Piece of the Action, easily. Tribbles was pretty funny but A Piece of the Action did it for me. Many, many laughs.
